Dunsfold Park supports Tour Series

Dunsfold Park is delighted to announce that they will once again be sponsoring The Tour Series professional cycling race which is set to take place in Woking Town Centre on 14th June 2011.

A successful worldwide aero-medical conference was hosted by Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance for the first time in the UK last week (May 24-27) with an aviation finale held at Dunsfold Park on 27th.

Dunsfold Park tenant, Trident Sensors, has won a Queen's Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category for its Polaris tracking system.

As the sun set last Friday and Saturday (1st & 2nd April), up on the hill overlooking Guildford, the Cathedral's floodlights cast an electric blue light on the landmark building in aid of World Autism Awareness Day's "Light it up Blue Campaign".

Earlier this month the on-site diner at Dunsfold Park reopened after an extensive refurbishment and is now in the experienced hands of Derek Drinkwater and his partner Pat.

Reg Day Museum Supports PhD Plea

On Wednesday 16th March, the Reg Day Museum at Dunsfold Park was host to Joel Morley from Queen Mary University of London.

On Monday 28th March a fearless John Renwick, aged 72, visited Dunsfold Park to practice for his World Record attempt which will take him and his sidecar to Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah at the end of August.

Sir Anthony Hopkins said the life-saving crew of the Surrey Air Ambulance deserved an Oscar® as he visited the helicopter base last week (Tuesday 5th April).

Dunsfold Aerodrome has been encouraging local residents to engage in Waverley Borough Council's current consultation on future development in the Borough, which is taking place this month.

Dunsfold Park Ltd was delighted on Wednesday 23rd February as Waverley Borough Council's Southern Area Planning Committee granted consent for a Solar Array on the aerodrome.
